Sweet Baby is here!

The sweetest little girl has come into our life! She is doing well, very healthy and just beautiful!! We are so lucky to be parents again. Enjoy some of the pics taken right after she was born.

Visiting Dirk

It was a very long weekend, so Asher and I went to visit Dirk! We had a great time seeing him and Asher was squealing with joy.

The next day we went to the zoo! Asher loves seeing the fish!

Happy 4th everyone! Asher and I went to the local parade. It was a blazing 90 and just stinkin hot! So I gave Asher some water and the next thing I knew it was all over him. I'm sure it felt good to him in that hot weather. On our way back to the car, he tripped and fell in a pile of dirt. So his wet little body was now covered in dirt...that's my boy! We went to a friends house for dinner and had a great day enjoying our freedom!

Watermelon

Asher and I were trying to decided what to do now that Dirk was gone, and we thought and thought and then decided to have some watermelon. It was so sweet and yummy, but Asher didn't like it. Hummmm, can you tell?

Our Farwell to Dirk

This was the day before Dirk left to Tulsa for work. Asher and I were both sad. Asher was doing everything to keep daddy from going. Asher put on daddy's hat, then sat on his clothes hamper that he was trying to pack. We will miss Dirk soooo much. It's gonna be a hard 6 months.

Mr. Smug

This cracks me up! We were out eating ribs, Asher was shoving food into his mouth and I told him to smile. Then I got this pose of him faking a smile. I was laughing so hard and people were staring.

Fat Lip!

I am such a horrible mom. We were at a new park today and Asher fell, cut his lip wide open, and almost fell off the whole thing. There was blood and tears, and apparently after a cold drink, he was fine, but his lip sure was swollen.

The Tornado...

It was so funny to find Asher in our front room with shreds of newspaper around him and my swimming suit top around his neck! He has a mind of his own. Turn around for just one second and he's gotten into everything. We sure love him though.

Father's Day

It was a fun day! Of course Asher had to be in the middle of it all, helping dirk unwrap his gift, and follwing him around. Then Asher took the father's day card and read it to dirk, (In his gibberish way of talking). It was so cute and so funny. Dirk is a wonderful dad and Asher sure loves being tickled and chased by him. Happy Father's Day!

Our 4th anniversary

This year makes 4! It is just crazy that it has been this long. We had a wonderful day. We went to the movies and then to a restaurant where dirk had the ribs and I had the salmon. YUMMY! The restaurant was on a lake with a beautiful view. It has been a wonderful 4 years and so much to be thankful for, but mostly each other. I love you!

The park

It was a blast at the park! It was the first one that we found that Asher really enjoyed and that he could climb up it by himself. You can't see it in the pictures, but he is sweating his guts out. His hair was soaked by the time we were done playing. Asher is a very busy little man.

From the eyes of a toddler...

This video is a perfect reminder of how a toddler walks/ runs...or at least tries to! We love our little boy, he is a handful, but oh so adorable!

On this hot day in June we decided to go for a little swim! It was almost 100 degrees but the water was freezing! Asher didn't like it at first, but he was jumping off the edge by the end.

Med Schol Graduation

On May 31, 2009 my Husband became a Doctor! He worked so hard the past four years and deserves to be honored for what he has accomplished. WE were so grateful for all of our family that came to support him on this day.
I'll tell ya it wasn't easy, but he made it! Congratulations!

Asher's zoo visit

Asher went to the Zoo and loved his snacks, the people, and running around. Needless to say, he didn't even look at the animals!
